Tamara Taylor

Tamara Taylor is an award-winning artist who has appeared on television and was a regular on a Saturday morning home decorating radio program. Tamara’s focus on art began early and if she was not creating, she was teaching other neighborhood kids, so no surprise she pursued her college degree in Art Education.

After spending time in Mexico, she was bitten by wanderlust and joined a major airline.  She started as a Hostess/Purser and departed years later as a Vice President.  Fascinated by the challenges of business management, Tamara studied at Columbia University.  With a focus on training, organizational and efficiency skills, as well as quality assurance, she managed a variety of departments.  She departed the airlines for the dot-com’s and was Vice-President of Operations for a Microsoft training company.  When the dot-com’s failed, Tamara decided it was time to pursue her art passion as a career.  Because of her extensive business experience she found herself highly successful in a matter of months.

Seeing a need to help other artisans with the business of doing business, she wrote and published an extensive “Apprentice Program for the Decorative Artist”. Tamara became involved with the production of trade shows and was the past Publisher of the Decorative Arts magazine.  In recent years her marketing expertise has been sought by a variety of companies.
